Attorney D. Sinclaire Owen Welch

Sinclaire is a planner. She believes that the estate planning process is not only a necessary part of your family’s well-being, but also way to honor your legacy and cherish those you love.

As a trust and estate planning attorney, Sinclaire can plan for your future by directing your assets to your beneficiaries through a last will and testament. She can protect your assets through a trust. She can help you and your family handle healthcare and financial decisions through designating powers-of-attorney. She can refer you to wealth management experts to ensure your legacy is productive. In all ways, Sinclaire will listen to you and your specific goals.

Sinclaire graduated from Campbell Law School, where she competed for and received the Cheshire Schneider Advocacy Scholarship. During her time at Campbell Law, Sinclaire concentrated her studies and internship experiences in estate, tax, and business law. Prior to starting law school, Sinclaire worked in the North Carolina Senate serving as a legislative assistant, working with legislators, constituents, and lobbyist. Sinclaire is a proud alumna of Meredith College.

As a Raleigh native, Sinclaire is a strong proponent of the Triangle’s growth and serves on the Raleigh Convention Center and Performing Arts Commission. When out of the office, you will most likely find Sinclaire in a yoga class.
